Multiple systems were disconnected preventing them from becoming the "one" system. We connected them to form a fully automated Waterfall.
Each system we choose has different strengths and weaknesses. This company chose Salesforce as their CRM system and to track business development activities. They used Unanet Financials to manage their books and to forecast their existing work but no way of connecting the two.
Using the Salesforce API we pulled down the data the opportunities. We wrote a java based program to scrape data from saved Unanet Cost Reports and formatted it into a database friendly format. Using a separate database we combined the two data dumps and created a crosswalk between them. We then utilized Excel to produce a fully automated Waterfall.
